At HPE Discover 2026, HPE unveiled a wide range of GreenLake enhancements to help enterprises modernize hybrid infrastructure, streamline AI operations and lower virtualization complexity. The updates cover agentic AIOps, private cloud platforms, next-gen virtualization tools and AI infrastructure management software.
These upgrades further solidify GreenLake as HPE’s unified operating model for hybrid cloud and AI environments, delivering centralized infrastructure orchestration, governance and automation across physical resources, applications and AI workloads.

GreenLake Intelligence Empowers Agentic AI Operations
The centerpiece of this update is GreenLake Intelligence, HPE’s dedicated agentic AI framework for hybrid cloud and AI operational management.
It introduces centralized agent management via a unified agent registry, flexible orchestration tools and standardized governance controls to coordinate AI agents across infrastructure layers, business applications and end-to-end operational workflows.
HPE has upgraded HPE OpsRamp with a new Operations Copilot to deliver full visibility into AI agents and large language model operations. The tool enables enterprises to monitor AI resource utilization, track token consumption and analyze operational costs across AI factories and hybrid infrastructure.
Leveraging telemetry correlation and AI-powered root cause analysis, OpsRamp Operations Copilot proactively identifies potential operational risks and accelerates troubleshooting efficiency.
HPE also established a new partnership with ServiceNow, integrating GreenLake Intelligence and OpsRamp observability into ServiceNow’s AI-driven service management platform. The collaboration builds a unified operational system covering infrastructure monitoring and autonomous service delivery.
Morpheus Adds AI Automation and Centralized Governance
HPE continues to position Morpheus as an advanced private cloud and virtualization platform, offering modern alternatives to traditional virtualization architectures.
The latest iteration launches HPE Morpheus Orchestration Copilot, a GreenLake Intelligence-powered tool that automates infrastructure and workload provisioning via AI-assisted workflows. It supports flexible bring-your-own-model deployment while enforcing unified governance and security rules throughout orchestration processes.
HPE also released Morpheus Central, enabling centralized governance and multi-deployment management for distributed Morpheus environments through a single unified interface.
Multiple previously announced features are now generally available. Software-defined networking capabilities add multitenancy, zero-trust security, policy enforcement and VXLAN overlay networking, cutting resource provisioning time by up to 60%. Integrated HPE Juniper Apstra support enables intent-based network automation, continuously verifying configurations, detecting configuration drift and enforcing automated policy compliance.
Additionally, stretched cluster functionality is now available, supporting active-active dual-site deployment with synchronous replication and automated failover for improved business continuity. Native HPE Zerto integration facilitates seamless workload migration from VMware to HPE virtual machines while sustaining continuous data protection, advancing virtualization modernization.
New Programs Accelerate Virtualization Migration
Building on the 2026 HPE Partner Growth Summit announcements, HPE launched new initiatives to speed up enterprise virtualization migration.
A new platform migration program offers new Morpheus VM Essentials users one free year of licenses and one-year HPE Zerto service for just $1, enabling non-disruptive VMware migration. HPE Financial Services also provides 0% interest software financing, helping enterprises eliminate redundant virtualization license costs during transition.
For service providers, HPE introduced CloudOps Software, a private cloud service delivery platform equipped with multitenancy, self-service provisioning, software-defined networking, policy governance and cost management modules. It pairs with HPE’s Cloud Commit model to deliver tiered pricing and service benefits based on committed spending.
Private Cloud Portfolio Upgrades Air-Gapped Deployment Capabilities
HPE updated its Private Cloud lineup to deliver consistent operational capabilities across edge and core data center environments.
HPE Private Cloud PC3000 now supports standardized air-gapped deployment for isolated, regulated scenarios and adds official validation for VMware vSphere 9, allowing users to update VMware infrastructure while unifying VM and container management via Morpheus’ single control plane.
HPE Private Cloud PC7000 also gains VMware vSphere 9 compatibility and the latest Morpheus features, including Terraform support, infrastructure-as-code workflows and automated private cloud operations. Its air-gapped variant now meets U.S. DoD Impact Level 4 (IL4) certification requirements, covering secure design, configuration hardening, vulnerability management and compliance for sovereign and highly regulated environments.
GreenLake Flex Optimizes Hybrid Infrastructure Management
HPE enhanced GreenLake Flex Solutions with upgraded operational and procurement features.
A new integrated management interface unifies infrastructure observability, sustainability metrics and consumption analytics into one dashboard, simplifying hybrid infrastructure management and improving visibility into resource utilization and cost distribution.
Users can now purchase qualified third-party software directly via the GreenLake Marketplace, expanding the platform’s ecosystem coverage. Combined with GreenLake’s consumption-based pricing model, these upgrades boost infrastructure investment flexibility and support ongoing hybrid cloud and AI modernization.
Availability Timeline
GreenLake Intelligence’s OpsRamp Operations Copilot, HPE CloudOps Software and the GreenLake Marketplace with direct ISV transactions are available immediately.
Latest HPE Morpheus software updates will roll out in Q2–Q3 2026. Air-gapped PC3000 and PC7000 deployments and additional private cloud features are scheduled for Q3 2026. GreenLake Intelligence and ServiceNow integrations will launch progressively throughout 2026 and 2027.
