Diverse Port Types

• The full series features combined Ethernet and optical ports to meet diversified networking demands and enable flexible deployment.
• Models with 8/16/24/48 ports (PoE & non-PoE) are available. All ports deliver wire-speed gigabit forwarding to match various application requirements.

IRF2 (Intelligent Resilient Framework 2)

• Simplified Management: Access any port of any member device to log in to the unified logical system. Configure the whole IRF system via a single device instead of managing units separately.
• Simplified Services: Control protocols run uniformly on the virtual device. Cross-device link aggregation replaces Spanning Tree Protocol, reducing protocol interaction, optimizing network operation and accelerating convergence.
• Flexible Scalability: Devices support hot plugging during expansion or removal without disrupting ongoing services, protecting user investments.
• High Reliability: It provides multi-link redundancy via port aggregation between member devices and uplink/downlink connections. The system automatically elects a new Master upon Master device failure to implement 1:N device backup. Real-time protocol backup ensures 1:N protocol reliability.
• High Performance: The overall capacity and port density equal the sum of all member devices, greatly boosting switching performance and port scale.

Reliable Security Policies

• Built-in ARP intrusion detection defends against ARP spoofing attacks.
• IP Source Guard prevents MAC, IP and combined MAC/IP spoofing as well as DoS attacks.
• DHCP Snooping prohibits unauthorized DHCP servers to ensure stable DHCP operation.
• Port security mitigates MAC-based attacks and controls traffic by MAC addresses.
• It supports 802.1X and MAC authentication, client version detection and Guest VLAN. Combined with iMC, it enables proxy and dual-NIC detection.

Enhanced Multi-service Capabilities

• Port and flow rate limiting prevents bandwidth abuse and enables refined traffic management.
• Three queue scheduling modes (SP, WRR, SP+WRR) support multi-priority data transmission.
• Rich IPv6 features and diverse IPv6 management functions are provided.

User-friendly Network Management

• It supports CLI, Web and Telnet for convenient management, as well as SSH 2.0 for encrypted and secure access.
• Remote firmware upgrade via FTP/TFTP is available. It is compatible with SNMP v1/v2c/v3, iMC and OpenView management platforms.
• A physical RESET button helps restore device status, reconfigure settings and troubleshoot network faults.

Energy-saving Design
